COVERING OUR KIDS IN PRAYER

As the first day of school gets closer, it’s easy to focus on school supplies, outfits, and routines. But the most powerful way to prepare your child for the year ahead? Cover them in prayer.

DAILY THOUGHT FOR PARENTS:

Some of the kids at Sozo are starting their very first year of school. Others are walking into their last year of elementary school. And some are still a little too young to start, but wherever your child is on the journey, you can begin praying for them right now.

Prayer isn’t just a backup plan; it’s the game plan. When we lift our kids up to God, we’re placing them in the care of the One who sees every challenge before it comes and equips them to face it with courage.

"The Lord will watch over your coming and going both now and forevermore" - Psalm 121:8

TODAY’S PRAYER:

God, thank You for watching over my child. I pray that You would go before them into every classroom, every conversation, and every moment of this school year. Surround them with peace, confidence, and godly friendships.

CLOSING THOUGHT:

There’s no better way to prepare your child than to play with them. God hears you, and He’s already working on their behalf, in this school year and every one to come.
