Welcome to August! We’re kicking off a brand-new series in Sozo Kids: GAME PLAN – because life is full of surprises, but God is never caught off guard.

Whether things go our way or feel way off track, we can trust this truth:

Throughout the month, our kids will learn that God’s plans are always good—and that following Him is the best game plan we could ever have.

Devotional Thought:

Have you even tried to play a game without knowing the rules or the goal? It gets frustrating fast. However, when you follow the plan, everything starts to fall into place.

That’s how it is with God. His plan for your life is bigger and better than anything you could come up with on your own, and it’s a plan that lasts forever

Is there something in your life right now that feels uncertain or confusing? What would it look like to trust God’s plan with it?

“God, thank You that You have a game plan for my life. Even when I don’t know what’s next, help me to trust You and follow Your lead. Amen.

As we kick off this new month, let’s lean in together – parents, volunteers, and kids – and trust that God’s plan is always good. Whether things feel uncertain or exciting, He’s already mapped out the next step.

We pray that this series strengthens your child’s faith, sparks meaningful conversations at home, and reminds your family that God is always guiding us forward with love, purpose, and direction.
